Default IR with E510

Is it possible to do IR with E510?
I am not able to do a custom WB

Some of the people here suggested to set WB to 2000K, or shoot RAW and adjust accordingly.

Anyone got any detail steps to take IR using E510?
I keep getting NG for custom WB and black screen

Use 2000K for your WB. And exposures will usually by around 2-3secs for me.

okie tried using WB 2000K and 3 sec finally got something on my screen.
But still don't understand how to do the channel mixer thing on Photoshop...and in the end getting red channel 100 and blue channel 100 but still looks black and white to me..
