Just brought a BG, was wondering whether for the AA battery is it more advise to use energizer batteries?

Any rechargeable is better than Alkaline.
1) Rechargeable has a constant and flat discharge untill the end and then power decline sharply 2) Alkaline power start to decline immediately once you use it.

I don't even know why you don't want to just stick to the original Canon Li-Ion cells...the AA battery cartridge is meant for emergency usage, when your Li-Ion cells die.

I will stick to it.. for the AA i just put there for spare only.
