nice shot except ur object "merlion" is overexposed ..

try these tips :
1. setup ur cam with tripod and take the shots with same angle
2a. meter the background and take a shot (will look like ur current shot)
2b. meter the object and take a shot ( ur merlion will look ok but background is dark)
3. use Photoshop to edit ur 2 shots ...

pls explain the logic of metering twice monsieur megaweb

The idea is to blend the second shot of the correctly exposed Merlion with the first shot using Photoshop.
