xD Picture Card

Are there other brands of xD Picture cards besides the first party, Olymups one? Are they better? So far, I know that only Olymupus cards have the pananormic capability. But how do other third party cards fare in terms of price?

That's a smartmedia card, not an xd card.

Currently all xd cards are manufactured by toshiba and sold either by Fuji or by Olympus. The only difference is that the Olympus brand enables panoramic shots on their cameras. Other than that, the cards are the same.

I've seen the Fuji xd cards being sold in Funan for S$10-20 less than the Olympus
brand.

thanks for the info. if yr cam supports sm, why pay extra for a xd since both are panorama enabled?

Alamak ... you can only use xD? That means the mju series??

Well, since you get only use xD, you might as well just pay the slight difference and get the oly one.

ya loh ah bo i sell u my fuji 64mb xd loh zzz if so i also will not sell that cheap one just bough also and found out cannot use panoramic funtion..
