    hi i like to know more about filter.I am new with camera.what i know is only buy a filter to prevent scatch on the len.can i know more thank

    either normally uv or skylight filter as protector...
    u can always google for more information on the reason behind it

    have you checked out the sticky? its all there!

    yes, the sticky has quite a bit of stuff - alternatively.. go to www.google.com.sg ..

    and search for "photography filters" or "photographic filters" or something like that, believe me you will get good sites.

    Also, it's important to spell the words correctly... It's "lens" not "len"

    So you could do a google search for "How to protect my camera lens from scratches"
