i think the picture is a lil too much underexposed and the horizon is the pic (and most of the pics in your set) slanted.

Yup, slanted horizon thing is also my first mistake. Tough to pull off a scene with slanted horizon and still looks good. It's not easy on the eye. Also shoot on M-mode and play with different exposures.

The images looks underexposed, perhaps you might wanna play around with M mode as suggested by Lynxiger. You can also fiddle around with the WB settings to get a warmer picture of the scene if desired
