Now where did you find this row of funky coloured shophouses?

Evolution doesn't seem so apt.

Heritage & Progress/Development might be better.

Heh, it's at Chinatown, somewhere very near Kreta Ayer Community Centre.

There, was standing on Kreta Ayer Road, infront of Blk 333.

Was thinking "Evolution" gives some life to the buildings instead, just like they are changing/improving themselves.

Oh, that was precisely why it didn't work for me. I'd generally associate "evolution" with a living mutating organism...well these buildings seem rather detached and devoid of life to me.
