Being new to the rangefinder world, I'd love to hear where's the best place to do CLA for a Fed 3?
Thanks. ![]()

any place that would do CLA would properly be good. do a search on the forums. DE Camera Consultant and Camera Hospital are two places you'd wanna search up on.

Hi,
Sorry if I sound a little... not too encouraging... The price of a good CLA might cost 4 x Fed 3 + lens that you can get on eBay. My advise is if the copy that you have is not working, try and get another copy off from eBay. If it is working (shutter fires, curtain no holes), take it out and shoot and have some fun. If it has some minor problem (curtain got holes...) try and patch it up with some black silicon. Hope that helps. |
