Which one is better? HDR-TG1 will be out soon and it is very small though.

From the specs the CX7 looks like a better cam.

The first looks like junk, the second looks like a far better camcorder.

Save your money and get the Canon HD camcorder that saves in SD cards, it got a very good review on camcorderinfo.

Agree.. why not look at the HF-10/100 which uses SD cards, recording HD too... I think John1:16 is retailing about 1.6k for HF-100... or about 200 more for HF-10
