Leica M Thread - Help Needed: Putting 49mm UV/IR cut filter on JM WATE Adaptor

hey guys,

i got a JM WATE adaptor and also a B+W 49mm 486 filter. But I am unable to get the glass element out of the B+W filter and onto the JM adaptor.

wonder if anyone in this forum done this operation before and can help me with it.

I have done it with a Leica 49mm UVa/IR cut filter and not with a B+W.

Mine was with the Leica E49 UV/IR filter. You should contact Gommy, he has precision tools. He did mine, just buy him lunch.
