Took this on an overcast day at SBG. Shot using a Nikon 60mm, f/5, 1/80s.
Note the colourful bokeh was composed by arranging the background leaves of the plants which were yellow, red and green. The focus is on the centre "berry". ![]() |

if it was natural, no choice. Since you mentioned arranging the background leaves, I would love to have the green as the backdrop for the berry surrounded by the reds flanking them. =) The focus seems to be on the white stuff at the top of the stalk and not the berries though. Think you should have more. show more! =)

The colorful BG in this case does not compliment the subject, it adds distraction to it and the focus seems to be on the top of the stalk rather that on the "berries". A uniform colored BG would be better as it will make the subject stand out.

thanks for the comments guys i tried this shot for fun so dont have any more.
the centre berry and the top stalk seem to be in the same depth field i think the top of the stalk is a bit distracting. will try again soon! |
