Default Using B+W IR filter 092 on my 350D

Hi, need your advise. If i was to get the B+W IR filter 092 for my 350D to take black and white pictures. Is it possible or must there be modifications done. Pls advise.

Point to note: black & white photography is not the same as IR photography.

Yes it's possible to take photographs with an IR filter in place, however, as the camera has a filter installed that blocks out IR, long exposures are required.
Or you could shoot ISO1600 f/1.8 1/20 sec... that worked for me on a bright day, but now I use a IR modified camera with the IR blocking filter removed
