And with the close focusing ability, you can get some pretty interesting effects, such as these:
The lens was just 2-3cm away from the lens cap when I took this  It's not fish-eye, but it's still pretty cute

Up for an excellent super wide angle lens. It's probably the best built DA lens, on par of or even better than DA Limited lenses.

Wonder why this lens still hasn't been taken yet. It's a great price for such an excellent super wide angle lens. Even a DA21 would cost more than the asking price if you buy from store, but this one is so much wider.

I guess I'll just have to be patient and wait for some wide-angle enthusiast to come along. I really like this lens myself, but I foresee that it'll be very under-utilised now that I have the 16-50. Those with just 18mm on their widest end should really see what difference these last few mm can make! |
