Hey guys and gals,
I bought a Slingshot 200AW and then later a 7 Million Dollar Home... But I cant fit my standard gear in it! Arghhhhh... Could any of you direct me in the right direction? Need to house the following in a bag (not backpack please, need to be able to swing my camera out (with 70-200 attached) to shoot spontaneously as and when something catches my eye =P): Canon 40D with 70-200 f2.8 attached 100-400mm 17-50mm 50mm f1.8 100mm macro MR14-EX macro ring flash Speedlite 580EX Garyfong whaletail 17" laptop Adaptors and spare batteries The 7 million dollar home is not enough cos the 40D with 70-200 attached sticks out.. ANY views will be greatly appreciated... I'd really appreciate it if someone could point me in the right direction =) Currently thinking of the brazillion dollar home... |

Hehe, nono, i dont bring a notebook and all in my 7 million =P if i could squeeze, I wouldnt buy a new bag =P but then again, I dont squeeze my equipment...
Hmmm, should I go straight for a Stealth Reporter 650AW? I'm thinking of buying a 24-70 f2.8 soon too... will the 650AW fit all? |

I'd definitely suggest a backpack, or else you'd probably have no shoulder left after a few horus of shooting..
But still, the Lowepro Stealth Reporter (550 / 650) seem like a good choice if you have to go with slingbags.

The only way I see it is to get a Brazillion Dollar Home (if you wanna stick with Crumpler), or go for the largest stealth reporter. Better to try at Cathay if you need to see if it'll fit everything.

Ok, after much persuasion, I have been swayed over to a backpack... Anything to recommend? Was looking at the fastpack 350 but i think wont fit all the above mentioned gear =X

I'd refer you to this site called www.cambags.com.
Stick with lowepro. How bout this Vertex 100. Photo Trekker Classic also looks good.

Is quick access a must, or is putting the bag down to retrieve stuff an option too?

Been looking at the 7 Million Dollar myself, thinking of getting something more colorful you see..
So do any of you reckon I could put a Thinkpad R60, and two bodies, a D200 + 17-55mm and D100 w/grip + 50mm F1.4 and a SB-800?

![]() ![]() no la, there are rolling camera bags but that's a very interesting idea maybe one day, someone will come up with that, the only trouble is that it isn't quite airplane friendly. would clog up the aisles. ![]() |
