I have a better idea.... Just make me 50-200 F2.8 SWD
![]() mount ec14 to get 280mm f3.9, or mount ec20 to get 400mm f5.6. |

I would very much prefer that 4/3 starts to capitalize on the longer zooms. If the sensor size translates to a more telecentric field of view for the lenses, they may snag those who really really need long lenses. Granted, it probably can't compete with a telescope, but it'll differentiate Oly from the competition.

Nikon has ventured with their DSLR combo with Nikon telescope.

In order to take good bird photo, you need to be a birder first then photographer second. To be a good birder, you probably need to be able to wake up really early, have strong legs and not afraid of forest mosquito (and spiders, and snake, and leech, etc). |
