Default my confession...

The year... 2005, the place... here on Clubsnap IR dept where I revive my interest on IR photography.

Very quickly (easily too!) after reading thru & thru Max 2.8's page on the 'How'... the 'Wow' factor came shorty after numerous wonderful & beautiful mistakes made in altering channels.

Initially, IR photography was a fun thingy (still is...) to do when my first love has always been in social documenting. Latter on the yielding for attaining better visual demands my utmost attention in seeing break-down-separated elements within a frame, not unlike being a B&W photographer... all over again.

Maybe a lot more poetic perhaps...

Thanks...

It is heart warming to know that the IR Forum here is able to help revive the lost passions of some photographers. In addition the Forum has also enticed many new photographers to start IR photography.

It is because of the passion and want of sharing by the group of regulars here that the INFRARED CITY Exhibition was organised and launched at the National Library Board in September last year. The main reason for the exhibition was to create more awareness of IR photography in Singapore. Following the success of this exhibition many people have become aware and have got into IR photography.

As this is a small community and relatively unknown genre form of photography we would like our members to help promote and encourage more photographers to get into IR photography.

There's always something that can be shared... or something to be inspired of...
For me, its the latter.

How fascinating it can be when each of us... differently, can interpret visuals with our personality attached.

Be it good or... not so good, its shown.

Great site!
