Is there a setting in E-510 to shoot with soft focus? Anyone know anything about this?

Either via a filter or PS; there are no in-cam settings for soft focus effect.

Either Hoya or B+W, warning though, the B+W comes at a premium.
On the other hand, you could simply just PS. Soft filters are a legacy of the film era, though I'm sure there are those who swear by it! ![]()

Softening the picture is much better being done on the computer...first you can adjust and undo the amount...second, you have an original sharp picture from the camera if you want it. Of course if all you do is soft images then by all means experiment. Even try a nylon stocking over the lens.
