Default Dragonfly

After doing some warm-up exercise this morning, a sudden downpour block my plan for morning jog. While on the way home, saw this lost dragonfly on the wall. Again, I invited her back home, and start a 30 minutes shooting session.
Take a measure on her length, it's exactly 3cm.

#1 Initial take

#2 Clear wings

#3 Some eggs?

Seem that everytime you also invited the insect home. Is it necessary?

Hi Leong,
Most of the time I shoot outside. So far I only did that twice. So your statement of "everytime" cannot stand at all.
First time was in the night, can't focus with the lighting outside. Second time was in he rush, also raining. Both time they were on the HDB wall, so I don't think it's too harmful for them to bring home. And I make sure they can fly away to go home after that.
Talking about necessity, bring model to studio is also not necessary following your logic.

To the TS,

Please note that we do not encourage such acts in CS. While I understand your reasons, the principle of nature photography (which include nature macro) is to ensure that the subject is not unduly stress and its welfare is more important than having its image captured.

Please do not do it again. I shall lock this thread.

Thank You

PS I have put up a guide which may also be applicable in principle here.
