    Default Earth Day 2008

Lest we forget, today is Earth Day.

Sometime in the far future, prolly tenfold generations from ours, the Earth will be a barren and lifeless void, devoid of lush greenery and the diverse living things that walk, swim or fly in the now polluted environment. Only one species will remain....Man.

What can we do to ensure such a scenario does not happen? Already signs are appearing that it is slowly happening...global warming, species extinction....will it be a case of too little, too late?

My feeling is that Mother Earth will get rid of the destroyers of the world so that it can survive!!! So perhaps man may become extinct or greatly reduce in number.

Money or the Environment. IMHO Man so far chooses monetary concerns over the environment. If it does not make economical sense then it is not worth the expenditure.
