Default bug face, face bug?

took this picture in chinese garden, not sure what's the name of this insect. anyone can help ID it?

You took this at Chinese Garden, this bug look japanese to me.

Btw, it's a type of Stink Bug, scientific name is catacanthus incarnatus

haha... yah... thanks, googled it and realised there are so many variations...

then again...it also looks like elvis...the black tip of its wings seem to resemble his hair..haha

Hi, andrew!

I just want to let you know that i love this piocture very much! It really portrays the wonders of nature.....though i have seen pictures of this insect before, who would have guessed that on close up, it looks so interesting and admittedly....cute? Did a quick google search on the insect and realised that not aot of photographers, from some reason, have taken the insect i the orientation you did...most did not take the picture with the "face" being the subject =D

It looks great and i enjoy looking at this picture =D

And yes, it does look like Elvis....with waxed hair ;D

thanks for the kind compliments think I took about 20 unsuccessful pictures of these fella, though it's quite big, didn't have much problem with the focusing, but did have problem with the composition and waiting for it to move to the right angle to get the "face" shot. am still trying to pick up macro photography and glad that you liked it.
