Default Pondskatters

Was at TPTP at the pond. Really tough taking this fella....had to squat super long to shoot them, and after standing up, get kind of giddy.....must be getting old....now my legs are all aching!

FZ30+Nikon 6T, F11, 1/80s, ISO80 2 diffuse flash, handheld, flip screen helps alot here to be at water level.

Very nice! This is the work of master!
By the way, how big is this fella?
Ya, everybody is getting old, but I will feel happy if I can get a picture like this!

Great work, as always.
What is it pulling in 3 and 5? feels almost like a sheet of something was pulled up.

There was a fallen stalk just below the water surface.

you've managed to pick up even the surface water tension film that the legs of the pond skater were on. very impressive!!

you really got down very low, didn't you?
how did you prop your arms up?
it must be difficult. i've tried before, couldn't really hold up my camera.
