    is been like this since the 14th...guess the newly updated maps are not really up yet...

    Only the satellite images are showing. The rest give an error saying not found on server

    Government shut down streetdirectory.com as they realised they can do the same thing themselves and make the money instead

    wrong.

    it is about sovereignty.

    how can a private company that is alleged to have copied the govt's SLA maps go around throwing their weight, suing others.

    I do not believe that is the case... the SLA allowed Streetdirectory.com to use the SLA's maps, but later Streetdirectory.com claimed to have created and thus hold copyright over the maps on their sites, and decided to sue people who use those maps without their permission... the SLA did not agree that Streetdirectory.com had held copyright over those maps so they decided to cancel their agreement with Streetdirectory.com and stop them from using those maps... and SLA now provides a free map service at

    http://www.map.gov.sg/StreetMap/
