I'm all for a cheaper budget. Maybe we can split up into 2 groups.

We meet up together during the day and when we retire in the night, we split up and go back to the 'poorer' hotels.

My boss just tell me, he cannot confirm the leave for Oct-Nov period. I have a major project due in 2 months. I can only confirm my attendence by late August. Hope there will be still room for me then.

    Hi guys

for the price .. its really not too bad man ...
i remember many moons ago ... a nearby trip to perth cost around the same price...

besides.. it sure beats sitting in a transport plane (as luggage) .. hahaa

Ah... now that the arrangement has been finalised (more or less) .. our next meeting might be to shop for the trip...

    oh i just .. bought a tele converter for my G2 ...
probably out of peer pressure... tsk tsk

    Regards

Actually u might be surprised to find out how good a P&S camera like Canon G2 could be, as our activities are mostly at day time. Exploring the composition, any camera could make wonders.

Flight out on 9 is ok. Flight out on 12 is on waitlist for all. Right now for security we are all on the flight out on 13. Price will be slightly lower than what Michael had got. Will let u all know when the seats on the 12 are confirmed.

Default keep me in the loop?

hiya, have been watching this thread as i was planning a trip to nepal in august. anyway, the plan is pending since i found out it is the raining season then.

can you guys keep me in the loop on the discussions. if i can't go with this team, maybe i can arrange one for just my sis and I later this year.

I have called joanne. Will meet up with her either today or tomorrow. She might join us with her sister. That would make us to a team of 8 members. Ideal !!

The 10D9D itinerary is fine with the local agent, I am now negotiating the price with them.

What we need now, is the confirmed status for the flight that depart on 12-Oct. Once the ticket is issued, we can shop for trekking boots. And off we go !!

Will keep u guys informed if there is any latest update.

joanne - you should decide soon as I'm in the midst of arranging the air tickets for the 6 of us. Once firm we intend to pay up to secure the booking. Michael will brief you about the rest when you meet him. Most welcome to join us.
