Default A stroll along city area. . .

Taken couple of shots a few Sundays ago, regretted that I did not have my tripod with me, so all shots were taken handheld.

C&C are welcomed.

Nice photos
1) Good and sharp. The composition is better than the second one, from my personal viewpoint.
2) A bit dull....
5) Maybe it will be better if larger aperture applied to blur the background so that to make the merlion more emphasized?
Pls ignore my comment if it was nonsense to you

Pix 1 -- GOOD and Nice feeling...
Pix 2 -- To direct... No feeling...
Pix 3 -- The top of the building been crop away... feel a bit too tight...
Pix 4 -- Too much empty space...Should zoom in a bit more....
Pix 5 -- Left side the light since to be a bit distracting and right side
there is a X'mas light wraping around the lamp post.... feel should remove it.

Hope you don't mind my comments...
BTW I also a newbie too.....

Overall I felt the pix is sharp and you didn't use tripod....
That's I'm very impress....!!!

Sorry my honest feelings....
U really shld have brought ur tripod, all the pics are not sharp enough ( for me). I think if u use tripod and compare, u will see the difference.

to add to the comments earlier,
#3: don't see any points of interest, the buildings are cropped, nothing interesting in the waters also.. too empty. Colors abit dull, perhaps too "cool" turn up ur WB a little?

#4: I think ur subject is the esplanade, but i think it's too small and far away..cos the water is again too empty and too big
could improve with a tighter crop or another location.

#5: Merlion too centralised, could improve by moving the merlion to the right so as to show more of the water sprout.

Hope u dun mind my harsh comments...
