Question External Battery Charger for Sony F717

Any recommendation for external battery charger for Sony F717? Instead of using the camera for charging the battery, I wish to have an external charger for the batteries, a kind of small device that attach to the power adapter. Anyone has good recommendation? Where and how much?

Thanks.

i intend to buy 1 but was put off by the $100 price tag.
MScolor or CP should be selling cheaper.
Wonder if there will be further discounts if we gather all F717 users who wants to buy it. some kind of MO.

I used a 3rd party for my digital video cam which cost me less than S$20 dollars when I purchased my digi video cam few years back. Too bad, the batteries are not the same and cannot use the exisiting one. I'll post the photo of my existing charger tomorrow (it's at home). It's a kind of device making use of existing Sony power adaptor and has a LED light to indicate the stage of charging and it protects from overcharging.... very much like the mobile phone desktop charger....

I know there is one that can be used for a number of different video cams and cameras, more like a multiple batteries charger. But that one also cost above $100 and I not sure how reliable it is.

went AP today.

Universal charger with car adapter = $55.00
charge all kinds of batteries including FM50/70.

FM50 third party battery = $55

me bought just a charger without cord for $20 nx door(DAIICHI)
it's a rip off , cos it's just like those pasar malam nokia battery charger plates. must use own sony power adapter to plug in. But they selling me the same battery as AP for only $45.

Would really like to get the AC-SQ950... can power from 12V DC (i.e. hack up a bank of batteries to run your camera from in an emergency) but costs $280...
