Daylight Lens Cracked

Hi, Need some advice.

My Daylight Filter cracked and split into several hundred splinters. It then proceeded to cut my 18-70 lens.Pieces of glass everywhere.

How do i clean the lens up properly?

Sent it to NSC, they will probably do a better job than what you can do.

just turn the lens upside down and shake the splinters off. remove the big pieces first and then gently blow off the minute pieces.

Be very careful, and remember to protect your eyes.
There might be some small pieces trapped in the paper like front cover.
Gently tap the side of the lens while it's upside down
