Afiend! Nice.
The shallow dof for the spiders shots though not in focus but somehow works. Must be quite creepy to see so many spiders crawling around! ![]() |

I like the last shot.. the shallow DOF of the body enhances the the sharpness of the head/eyes.

First picture: The pinks are too strong compared to the duller brown of the insect, and it draws attention away from the main subject. This rather quickly causes the viewer to shift his/her attention to the flower petals. Crop tighter when you have got such a fine main subject, and you exposed spot-on too!
The shots with the many many spiders: Was is a multiple exposure or there really were that many?! Quite incredulous, great for scaring some girls I know. (heheh) The final shot is fantastic! Could you share with us the settings for this shot please? You've got great pics for this post. Keep it coming! |

very nice shots ... here are my comments
Pros - well exposed - image quaility is sharp Cons - object is dead center. try to compose to the Rules of Third - avoid the distacting object in the background just my 2 cents worth |

The one with many spiders... is not a multiple exposure, rather it was a shot of little spiderlings still in the web i guess.. waiting for the wind to blow them to a new place. Yeah, it is kinds scary in the pic, but in reality it is very small... hehee Sorry, forgot to put the settings for the shots... here are the settings for the last shot... 1/125 sec, f/8.0 Mode: Manual Metering: Partial ISO: 100 |
