Hello,
Wondering if Nikon wireless remote controls or remote cords can control AF? i.e. half press = AF, full press = take photo? Sorry, no idea of remotes at all :P Thanks! |

the cheap $16 remote cannot half press at all. BUT, those $100-$200 remote release that is corded can half press.
basically when u press the button on the remote, the camera will focus and then snap right away. |

or else can manual focus, esp fast moving subject

Haha I think you can build your own too if you want. Search around for those schematics. I think usually just a stereo plug, a cable and 1 or 2 switches. Or some people build and sell over ebay.

btw for the benefit of others.. it's a remote from this 3rd party china (i think) brand called yongnuo.. got it for 20 odd bucks.. cheers..! |
