HI guys, as i am using a D60, looking for a budget zoom lens,
Saw the AF 70-300mm f4-5.6 ED & G version both priced differently as i know the ED has a metal mount at aperture ring while the G series does not have it. although both are roughly the same, i heard the ED series creates better pics then the G series even though seems tht both have same optics. so roughly any suggestions as i am looking more towards the G series which is within my budget, maybe some opinions on the quality and things to look out for? or shd i just get the AF-S 55-200mm VR? Btw, i usually shoot potraits, seldom in landscape. TIA! ![]()

For Sigma lens you need those with HSM before it would autofocus with your D60. Better to stick to the Nikon AFSVR 70-300 which I'm also targeting.
