hi,
i quite interested to do some IR photography now.. then i got myself a IR filter.. but i noticed that my IR filter is the R850 ones.. is there a differ between the R720 and R850 or higher? seems like many are using R720... anyone? |

R850 means it cut off at 850nm which will block of all visible light hence the result of your picture should be more like BnW IR.
R720 still permit some visible light to pass through hence we can get the blue sky effect after doing a channel swap during the post-processing.

It depends on the effect you want to achieve... if its blue skies, then you need R720 or even lighter...
But I believe the higher cut-off filters gives better contrast... (bros out here, do correct me if I'm wrong...)
