    Default Photographer's Vest

    Hi

Where is the best place to get hold of a photographer's vest?

Any suggestions also on what type to buy?

    Thank you all.

    The Camera Workshop.

But honestly, it's a bit old skool. You'd look a bit "funny" if you wear one these days.

(Don't meant to offend, but it's just based on casual observation, lah.)

Thank you for your note, no offence taken, glad that you mention it, at least I can now consider whether I want to be "old" or modern. What's your recommendation then??

    Thanks again.

I remember spotting some at The Camera Workshop. If I had to get one, I get the black vests. At least look a bit more modern. 50+ bucks, if I recall correctly. Safrotto brand, which is essentially a Domke clone. If you want the original brand Domke vest, check out Cathay Photo.

And also just remembered, a lot of photographers don't favour vests because it's really hot to wear, especially if you're going to be shooting outdoors. Do check for ventilation features in the vests.

Do check out the BnS as well. Sometimes they do pop up from time to time.
