Default Bokeh and Some Night Shots

hello!!! this is my first official try for night shots. please C&C! i think i might have overexposed some details though

1. Bokeh #1



2. Bokeh #2 (some wierd pattern on lower right corner)



3. Old Parliament #1 (i hate the coconut tree)

10. Last but not the least (Merlion got really burned)



All shots were taken with Nikon AF 50mm f/1.4 (so you can imagine how long I walked around just to frame these guys). Thank you!

too overexposed to me... i prefer a warmer WB also to have tat nite effect...
hehe

thanks for the comment! i prefer more highlights but have to balance exposure just a little more

Too much highlights can blow the details... gotta balance la...
check the histogram...

check the histogram...
yup, histogram and highlight checked, there are some parts. can't keep everything in proper exposure or else it will be dim ... or ask fullerton and merlion to soften their lights just a bit thanks anyway.

Get a ND fliter. And oso the coconut tree can clone away.

thanks! i never heard of ND filter before until now. i'll give it a shot.

I actually prefer a bit cold WB for night shot So I usually reduce the red curves in PP. It depends on the mood though
