Default Lubitel 166B, how to unwind and keep film?

I have a lubitel 166B on hand. managed to wind in a roll of film.
I'm hoping I managed to wind in properly. haha

how do I unwind and keep the film to bring to a lab to develop?

I use a TRI-X 400 FILM... 400TX. 120 film B&W.
The film doesn't have a cylinder container like those 35mm film.

Anyone have any experience?
Please advise! thank you!

120 film is come with paper backing, and the film is going only ONE direction,

so when you done with the last exposure, keep wind it till you can feel the tension loosen up.

wind another few round to be sure,

open up the camera back,

remove the film,

you will see a small label tag attach near the end of paper backing

fold the end of the paper backing inward

use your saliva to wet the back of the label tag to seal the paper backing.

and remove the empty spool in your camera and insert it to the other side of the chamber.

you are done with it

You don't have to use saliva this days.... There's a piece of sticker for you to do so.

Yup! It won't get exposed if you do it properly. Unless you are talking about IR (Infra-red) film. That will be a different case.

Fuji is the market leader with regards to this.....sadly Kodak and Ilford are still lick-n-stick

I know, because I refuse to lick it, what with all the chemicals.. I love my film, but not THAT much!! I carry a few rubber bands instead. Sticky tape works as well.
