Default Does sensor size directly equal to image quality

Hello guys, I would like to ask is sensor size directly equal to image quality. I seen some sensor is 1/2.5" and some are 1/1.7" size, which is better.

Try a search on google... This is really well-documented, and there are MANY things which affect/determine image quality, including the JPEG post-preocessing engine if you're not shooting RAW.

Assuming all else equal, a larger sensor with same number of MP compared with a smaller sensor can have an advantage in having less noise in lower ISO settings.

look for sample images of the models you are considering rather than the size of the sensor... and look for reviews...

i think the short answer yes. also depends on the application, if you are talking 6" x 4" stuff, the diff would be minimal.
