Photos printing - how many different ways?

Can someone enlighten me on the many different ways of printing photos?
I have heard digital prints, chemical prints, inkjet, acid free... just too many of them. What are the differences in terms of print quality and costs?

I'd like to be able to print photos and sell it. Am just too confused with the terminology.

digital prints- Output from digital camera or print from digital chemical machine

chemical prints- from machine or from the old traditional darkroom

inkjet- colour inkjet

acid free- type of photo paper

For selling, use art paper or use canvas for better presentation.....
