Went there today after work. Quite ...not quite.... VERY disappointing.

All good stuffs snagged up. Nothing left.

But tons of Tenbar bags still available

    - lotsa Tenba bags (895, 655, 675, 695, computer bags, etc).
    - some Manfrotto heads (most noticeable is the 141 which is $20)
    - 3 manfrotto tripods (including Ansel's 028 gear column)
    - many PnS cams (Rollei's & Casios i think - film ones)
    - Metz flashes (the 40 series and small 34 series - all $180)
Are those the 40MZ series? Those would be great buys at $180... usually they cost over $400! Would work very well with cameras sporting standard hotshoes....

    Hi cyrilng,

I understand you have both the P839 and the 859. How much were they when you purchased them at Fotoguide? Thanks.

    some prices:

Metz 44af4 $188 (for Nikon and Canon)
Metz 34cs2 $180 (digital slave flash with also 3 auto modes)
    Pentax 330rs $560
    Pentax 430rs $650
    Manfrotto Pro117 Tripod $128
Manfrotto Junior390 $96 (feels solid and not too heavy)
Manfrotto Actionstrap401 $80 (great accessory to carry heavy tripods around. It allows you to strap the tripod across your body)
    Manfrotto 056 $16 (pan-tilt head)
    Manfrotto 108 $19 (ballhead)
    Rollei 28mm F4.5 compact @ $70

There're also irons, microwave, Casio keyboards, breadmaker and quite a bit other stuff. Saw a number of Tenba bags too. All are shoulder bag style, laptop bags.

    How did you know?

I bought them very long ago. In fact, I bought another P839 & kept it as a spare as I like it so much & in case I can't find them anymore! I can't recall exactly but they probably cost around $180-250 at least at that time, maybe 4-5 years ago. The cheapest I can find now for the 839 is US$99.95 & the 859 is US$112.95 before shipping!

Btw, I modified them a bit by sticking a piece of leather on the back of the bag so that it does not wear out so fast & rub a hole in my pants when I carry it, which is often. I also removed the padded mobile phone insert in the side pouch & undid the stitching on the two small side pen pockets to make the front pocket bigger so that I can stuff more gear in there like a small flat panel litebox sometimes.

Just got the 859 at S$80... seems quite similar to one of the Domke series..

Asked one of the guys there, who of course gave a very non-commital answer... for those stuff that still have plenty of stock (yeah, those Tenba bags), probably will remain the same.. those that got sold out, they will try to replace with something etc...

They didn't sell the 32Z series when I was there at Trademart.

As far as the last sale when I was there, they don't have the 32 nor sca for sale. I bought the 40AF-4 for my nikon and the Tenba 995 . But the range in the coming sale may be different.

Hi kingpin, how do u like the 40af-4, any comments to share? I am considering going to the coming sale at Jurong and buying that.

Anyway, what was the other flash model that they had at Trademart?

    Thanks

Hi Freed, I haven't taken any pics with the flash yet. Fitted n did a few "dry" shots on my F5 and F80. It worked ok with both but have a limitation working on the F5 which is written in the manual. TTL is ok. Will be trying out with some film soon. Can't remember the other model, think it is the 30 although I can't find this model on the web. Its small n compact which cost $180. 40 AF-4 cost $188. Hope this helps. If u have F5 I'll let u know what is this limitation.
