Default What happens when one pulls film?

Does pulling a film reduce the amount of grain compared to using it at its intended ISO rating? What other effects are there when you pull the film?

    thanks!

haven't tried it myself, but i've been told that pull processing inproves grain and reduces contrast. there's some slight colour shift involved as well AFAIK.

the more common use for pull processing film is to compensate for overexposed film by under-developing it.
