Finally made the switch.
Yah, I finally made the move. Over the past weeks I manage to find a used D30 in good cond. This guy was selling with his 70-200L b'cuz he bought the 70-200 IS. Added another EOS-30 body (oso cheap cheap since owner upgrade to 1V already).
My trusty old bashed up F90x is sold along with my 50/1.4 AI, zooms and 105 micro. Sniff sniff... No regret anyhow. The AF and tracking on the EOS-30 is a quantum jump from my F90x. I am breathless when I saw everythin jump into AF sooon as I press the button. Jez getting used to the D30... Want to ask is there a good micro lens for Canon like the 105 Nikkor? Wanna buy one sometime in 1-2 mths. How about the Canon 100/2.8USM? Jez trying out the 420EX and 550EX. Any reco on the Sigma 500 super? It is suppose to be almost a copy of the 550EX? |

The EF 100mm f/2.8 USM macro retails @ about $1k. As for the flash, if you want a peace of mind, get the 550EX!
