hi. can i register local warranty after i bought a canon dslr from oversea?

No you cannot.

The international warranty applies only to Lens.

For DLSR body the warranty will be according to the country of purchase.

nope. local warranty only applicable for local sets.
in fact, the serial number is of a different format IIRC.

you can try registering it on canon singapore website. they won't work.
