Default Canon HG10

Folks,

I'm keen on getting the Canon HG10. Can anyone tell me the pros and cons of this model? From the review, it seems to be value for money.

Comments?

Allot of our customers say its weight and picture quality are its biggest plus points. Its hard drive based which is a full 10 points for convenience and practical. Only bad comments i can think of would be its small EVF and not the greatest for audio quality and doesnt have manual focus. You are however spot on for its value for money!

Hard disk and AVCHD are convenient until it comes to editing your footage. The sales guy in the shop will never tell you about that part. If you plan to edit your stuff, the HV30 which is HDV therefore tape-based, is much better for editing and also higher quality.
