Unfortunately, that's the price to pay when Amazon's trying to take care of your package by stuffing more air into it. The bubble wrap is very good.

Unfortunately, that comes as a price to pay when delivered to singapore... But hey, at least the equipment's covered!!!

It's not so much of Amazon taking care of your package...
Just the fixed size of their boxes (which are optimized for books and DVDs).
They just put your package in the box that fits, and fill the rest of it with airbags/bubble wraps.

Don't think you can expect much from them.. They're not your typical family run camera business that will provide that extra bit of service. And the US Folks ain't complaining...

We don't really have much of a choice, unless you choose not to buy from Amazon, and just get it more expensive from Singapore stores.

Not really complaining lar... Just pointing out hidden cost that some might potentially overlook.
Especially when the pricing is so attractive at Amazon, coupled with the current low forex rates.

No worries, and I think that's what the forum's for and why we participated in the first place.. sharing *information*.

At the end of the day, it's usually --->

2nd Hand Prices in BnS < Amazon or Ebay prices < New from Singapore Stores!

But of course, there's always exceptions
