Bargaincity offer 40D with (28-135mm IS USM)

Hi Guys

Any comment on this package, it cost 2559 incl gst ? I mean the comment on this lens actually, because cant seems to find any thread on discussing it.. Thanks

1. The lens is OK IF you don't use wide angle
2. I would prefer the 17-85 IS to the 28-135 as it has a much more useful range and is about the same price
3. The price is not that great - you can buy a 40D body and a second hand 28-135 or 17-85 for about $2,300-2,350.

Also consider the 18-55 IS lens - which is really quite good and comes with the 40D Kit 1 for just over $2,000.
