this was a really impromptu picture of my classmate and her girlfriend kissing..while we were waiting for the bus to co- arrive.... ;P
rest assured i had her permission to post this picture up... ;D what do you think?

why would this be "taboo" ..... ?

The composition leaves much to be desired ... but since you said it was an impromptu pic ... then I will leave it at that ....
Maybe you would like to ook at cropping to bring it in tighter and to elminate some of the distracting elements

Hmm.. is both the couple female?

Is direct flash used? Maybe can try using natural lighting instead.

yeah both of them are female.. the one on the left is the 'male', or rather butch i think?
i used bounce flash...not direct...

Why is this a taboo? I guess if this is a taboo to you, than it is a taboo.

Back to the picture. If you have time to set up your flash to bonce, I would say it's not really a snap shot.

I dont't like this picture because it is too busy. Maybe if you have cropped it in tighter, the impact would have been more.

Anyway, good job in the marketting department though.

hmmm good idea maybe i'll crop it tighter and see how it looks... initially i cropped abit already but was worried it may be too tight... i won't say its a taboo for me but wow... imagine if the lao aunties and lao peh peh see this rofl...

Try cropping in tight, just their face. I think the imapact will be much more powerful.

Hahaha lost for words? lol Cropping can change the entire feel of a photograph.
