suggest to wait for Olympus TCON17 for teleconverter and WCOM07 for wide-angle. Both are probably among the best you could find for either. Expected to cost >$200 each.

Did you manage to find out how much the teleconvertor costs in Singapore? If so, how much?
Extract: When used with the Olympus CAMEDIA C-5050ZOOM digital camera, the conversion lens adapter CLA-1 and step-up ring SUR4355 are required. Since the 5050 comes with the bright lens, will this cause a problem as the teleconvertor has no threads to fix a CP on it? Also, will stacking the teleconvertor on top of the adaptor ring with a UV lens be a problem? Or should I remove my UV lens before I screw on the teleconvertor? Don't know if vignetting will occur ... Any 'seniors' to comment/advice? Last edited by Retro; 21st June 2003 at 11:36 PM. |
