Yeah lor.. Now that there are some on the road, I'd really like to know what's the real figure. On paper it (23km/l) looks even better than hybrid cars!!

If it comes down to these following models, which would you guys choose?

    1. Honda Fit or Jazz
    2. Kia Rio
    3. Mitsubishi Colt
    4. Suzuki Swift
    5. Hyundai Getz

    All are hatchback cars

The new Mazda 2 is very nice indeed. Always drooling when I see my neighbour's new Mazda.
OT, a good friend of mine just bought an Audi TT for his daughter to drive. What a lucky girl!!!

Really? My neighbour says the fuel consumption is pretty good.
    Perhaps different driving styles.

To some people 12km/l is pretty good. To others 15km/l is still not good enough.. IMO, Mazda cars drinks petrol like nobody's business..

If you want fuel economy, 3,4 and 5 are already out. KIA some people say no power. Honda is good but a bit overpriced. Consider Yaris or Latio Sport.

Suggest you get an automatic transmission car. Manual sucks in start-stop Singapore.

Why not the Subaru Impreza 5D? Also hatchback and 1.5L. $60k for AT and $58k for MT.

Don't forget the reliable and value for money Daihatsu Siron. The 1.3L version is cheap and economical.
