Actually it's not OOF, it's just shallow depth of field. Can see that one eye is sharp while the other is softer. It's usually preferable for portraits to have a less harsh or softer, especially for children and women.

Nice nice shots there!

Sorry noob question.. how exactly can i take potraits picture with focus on eyes?

my method: choose Manual AI focus and use the centre AI. Aim the centre AI between subject's eyes, half press, re-compose and shoot. is this method correct?

Another question: when kids are moving around (e.g. towards background) and i wanna take continuous shoots, is there any way that can keep my subject always in focus.
