    Default Raw, Jpeg or both?

i m not here to discuss about why shoot in raw or why shoot in jpeg or why shoot in both.

there are already threads discussing the pros and cons of the raw format, jpeg format.

i just would like to see how many of us here shoot in raw, jpeg or both.

I used to shoot jpeg plus raw but often run out of memory. So now only hi-res jpeg. Anyway i seldom software edit, so don see a new for the massive raw files.

RAW only for me.... when using my DSLR.

Started with Jpeg.... but after founding out about Abode Lightroom.... RAW all the way for me.

RAW+Jpeg would take up too much space....

JPEG only. Firstly because my computer is too slow to process RAW files, so lots of time will be wasted waiting. Besides, I do not have much time to process pictures now.

Another reason would be that I love the JPEG output of my camera.

If it were 2-3 years back when the d70 was really popular. I would say raw was the way to go.
But with the release of the newer cameras...I believe jpegs now look really cool too

Me prefer Jpeg as Raw would take up too much space for my comp. Leisure shoots or portfolio etc.... will lead my decision whether to take raw or jpeg..... sometimes it is very much depend on my ultimate printing motive and customer's requirement.

    Just a personal view!

jpeg. Only because my camera cannot capture raw.
Sony DSC-H2....its not the power of the camera, its the vision of the photographer....

Depends on the situation. I use both. RAW when I need the final edge in post versatility and quality, and JPEGs when the subject/lighting condition is not too demanding, I can get the exposure just right and I need the small size/speed (buffer gets jammed up very fast on RAW).

Raw for me, since I am can adjust the white balance and control other parameter to improve my photo.

Anyway, RAW file from my camera was not too big, so it's still alright for me.
    Let's get rolling :)

I used to shoot JPEG for sports, TIFF for other work but I'm switching to RAW for everything as the processing software is quite good now and my next camera body has no TIFF support.
