    prefer the less exposed one - think it was the first pic?

    but wat to do, in both pics the sky is blown out. i get that alot too..

    If your camera is capable of multipoint matrix metering then you might not get this problem. But then if the sky is really very bright then the building would look slightly under exposed while the sky would still look somewhat over exposed. One way is scan in to PS and do a balance adjustment.
