Maybe not thought of as an infrared subject, but it works pretty well. Shooting with an IR converted P&S camera. I know I just posted some pics a few days ago, but I like these very much and wanted to share. I hope you enjoy them as well.
The Torrey Pines Gilder Port sits atop some cliffs over the Pacific Ocean in San Diego and the afternoon breezes make it a perfect place for hang gliding. This was a beautiful Sunday and the skies were crowded which means I do not have to wait long between shots. 1) The Glider Port- this person could be landing or trying to take off- I don't remember. You can see many more in the background. ![]() 2) Hanging Around ![]()

Things can sometimes be slow to load so I will spread the pictures over two posts.
3) Flying Dog- even Man's Best Friend was having a good time! ![]() 4) Into the Wild Blue Yonder- he looks very high up! ![]()

I like the 2) Hanging Around, mainly I am oso in such stuffs... take some main parts and let the viewers guess the rest type of photos...
![]() 3 Into the Wild Blue Yonder- he looks very high up! is fantastic, though the title can be slightly shorter... \"2) Flying Dog- even Man's Best Friend was having a good time!" this is funny but i feel a tighter crop will be better ![]() |

hehe..i like the doggy one
![]() i dont think there's any restriction on how many photos you can post....so i dont see why not. since this forum is for sharing IR photos ![]() esp since..the weather has been very bad on our side lately..thus you havent seen many of us posting photos. laziness is another issue ![]() |

Great captures Jeff.
"Into the Wild Blue Yonder" is my pick. Love the colors, good pp. But just a little nit pick, if only the hang glider is a little above or below that small patch of cloud then it would give better contrast of him against the blue yonder. Pics captured at a good time of the day for IR Note: There's some mistake in the numbering of your pics. Last edited by teerex; 19th March 2008 at 10:57 AM. |

Opps! Thanks for catching the numbering error. I must have been using my eleven fingers again.
Right Hand: 10. 9, 8, 7, 6, Left Hand: 7, 8, 9, 10, 11. Try it!
