Philosophy of our services

We value long term rental relationships and hence try to work out the best deal and arrangements. However, to keep cost low, collection and returning places are pretty much limited to where I work (Jurong East), stay (near Ngee Ann Poly) and would be going on the day of collection / return.


In bringing you the best value, this is what we promise:

1) No

• Deposits – no need to bring additional money for deposits, rental sum is all that required. No large capital outlay for you.

• Booking fees – jus sms or PM me to book, no need to pay until you collect. No need internet transfers for reservations, even on hot dates (pun not intended)

All verbal agreements are upheld on my end. Dun worry abt not having the equipment after booking. For the times when I made a mistake and over-committed, I made sure that the guys who made the reservations got the piece that they need or a better piece without additional charges.

Eg:

30D instead of 20D,
Canon EF 70-200mm f2.8 IS L USM instead of Canon EF 70-200mm f2.8 L non IS USM.

My clients can testify to this.

Cancellation fees – I value a long term relationship, if you need to cancel due to unforeseen circumstances, its OK, jus dun do it too often and give me notice so that I can release the items to others. However, on the wk of the rental, I may sms you to confirm the booking, if you do not response in 1-2 days, it is taken that you have decided not to rent.

• Hidden cost – The stated payment sum is the sum u need to pay. I dun give sudden shocks for stuff such as bags not inc or batts not included … no hidden cost. I include bags for a very good reason. They protect the equipment. Once you collect from me, you are free to start shooting.

• Additional cost – subject to availability and reasonable-ness, additional CF cards, upgrade of bags, tripods, CPLs, remote controls and batts etc are provided free. There is no such thing as additional cost for 1 or 2 more sets of batts, or accessories such as lightsphere, omnibounce etc … In fact a lot of things are included already in the package as it comes.


2) Best value: Best value in CS for quite a number of items inc flashes.

3) Transparency:

• There are others out there who claim not to be keen to make money but charge you for every additional thing. Not here! As far as I hv available, I can lend you FOC. We aim to work for long term relationship

• No increase of price for last minute rental. We dun do that over here. Price is displayed here already. For longer periods (eg 1 wk), rental sum is abt the cost of 3-4 days. So if you are taking 3-4 days, we usually recommend you to take for one wk. Afterall, the cost is the same!

• 24 hours rental, so long as I do not have another rental on the same item, previous evening collection and next morning return can be arranged. A lot of wedding photographers had benefited from this. Let me know your constrains earlier so that I will not schedule another rental.


Camera rentals comes with:

• Battery grip (it comes w the camera, NO additional cost)
• Camera bag (for bigger bag, pls request in adv)
• 4 Batteries - 2 is enough for 2 day’s shoot but another 2 jus in case battery failure – I dun take chance for the fun of it.
• 1 x 2GB CF card (5D - 4GB)
• Kit lens (5D - not ava)

ie. For every camera rental (except 5D), once the camera is collected, you are ready to start shooting

Lens rentals comes with:

• Hood (where available, no extra cost)
• Lens caps
• Filters attached (please do not remove filters)
• Lens pouch or case
